The investment is part of the $465 million Victorian Tourism Recovery Package which is set to establish the gardens as the premier eco-tourism attraction in the south-east.
This investment will fund important projects including wildlife protection initiatives, safer tracks and walkways, accessible entrances, upgrades to the picnic areas, play equipment and hospitality facilities and improvements to curated native landscapes within the Australian Garden.
