Visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne

One of Victoria’s prized locations, the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne is 45 km south-east of the Melbourne’s CBD. Known for its exhibit of native Australian plants and fauna, the gardens measure 363 ha and includes a variety of heathlands, wetlands and woodland spaces inhabited by a range of native bird species.

The Explorer

Discover the Australian landscape on this open-air bus tour. From the Red Sand Garden, journey along the east coast of Australia, around the riverbend, before winding back through the fragrant
Peppermint Garden. On Mother’s Day, every mum will receive a plant to take home at the end of each tour.

Be led by an expert guide along the Rockpool Waterway, across the Waterhole Bridge and into the Arid Garden. See the 400-year-old grass trees as you enter the Eucalypt Walk and discover the uniqueness of Australian plants and how they ft into our climate.
